How to improve the filtration speed of the vacuum oil filter?

When the solid particles in the suspension are large uniform in size, the pores of the filtered filter residue layer are relatively smooth, the speed of the filtrate through the filter residue layer is higher. A flocculant should be used to gather the fine particles into larger agglomerates to improve the filtration rate.


For the suspension of solid particles with a fast sedimentation rate, it should be used in the filter equipment that feeds the upper part of the filter medium, so that the filter direction the direction of gravity are the same. Coarse solid particles such as diatomaceous earth expanded perlite are mixed into the suspension to loosen the filter residue layer. When the viscosity of the filtrate is high, the suspension can be heated to reduce the viscosity.
